Silence Garage Door & Gates was founded by Tal Karta in 2010 and has been family-owned and operated ever since. From the start the work has been hands-on, with the owner involved in the jobs themselves rather than running the company at a distance. That is still how it works today, and it is why accountability sits with a person rather than a call center.
What began as gate and garage door repair grew into installations, automation, custom fabrication, and fencing. Today the company handles repairs and new builds for both residential and commercial properties, including community gate systems for HOAs and property managers across Greater Los Angeles.
Much of the work comes from customers who have called before. Gates and openers are long-lived systems, and the relationships tend to be long-lived too — service on a system installed years earlier, or a second property once the first one is handled.
