Do you serve all of Malibu?
Yes — every Malibu neighborhood, including Malibu Colony, Point Dume, Carbon Beach, Big Rock, Sunset Mesa, and Las Flores Canyon. Same-day service for most calls, scheduled appointments for estate-managed properties.
Can you respond same-day in Malibu?
For most gate failures, yes. Call before noon and a Silence technician is typically on-property the same afternoon. After-hours emergency response is available — we keep one estate-priority truck on call.
Do you handle coastal corrosion on Malibu gates?
Yes — Malibu beachfront and Pacific Coast Highway proximity accelerates wear on hinges, hardware, motors, and electronic components. We carry stainless and marine-grade replacement hardware on the truck and we’ll diagnose corrosion-related failures as part of every visit.
Will the technician arrive in a discreet, unmarked vehicle?
Our service vehicles are clean, professional, and intentionally low-profile. Malibu properties expect privacy; we don’t park visibly at the curb unless asked, and we coordinate access with your gate code or estate manager in advance.
Do you work with estate managers and property managers?
Yes — we handle scheduling, invoicing, COI/insurance certificates, and after-action reports directly with estate managers and property management firms on a regular basis. We’re familiar with the access protocols common to Malibu estates.
Which gate brands are you authorized for?
LiftMaster, FAAC, Genie, DoorKing, Ramset, Viking, All-O-Matic, and Eagle. We carry common replacement parts on the truck so most repairs are completed in one visit.
Can you handle gated community access protocols?
Yes — we work routinely with Malibu Colony, Serra Retreat, and other gate-guarded Malibu communities. We have the resident-parking-pass and access-protocol experience to make the visit smooth.
What about Pacific Coast Highway access timing?
PCH traffic varies dramatically by time of day and season. We schedule Malibu calls around predictable windows when possible, and confirm ETA the morning of the visit so estate managers can plan access.
Are you licensed and insured?
Fully licensed, bonded, and insured in California. Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming your property or estate manager as additionally insured can be issued the same day on request.
Family-operated or corporate franchise?
Family-operated and -owned since 2010. The technician who arrives at your property is a Silence employee — never a subcontractor. Same name, same trucks, same standard every visit.
